Here's a poem I wrote in February 2010, yes a long time ago I know. Eventually I'm gonna run out of all my old poems that I keep coming across and I'll have to write some new ones #DreadingIt
Anyways here it is. If you're clever enough to figure out what the poem is about (which isn't too too hard really) post it in the comments below (:
Enjoy
Waiting for your movement
Seeing you there, oh so still
You’re dark and quiet
Utterly motionless
There is no life within you
Your provider’s message gives me false hope
When I look into you, there’s nothing to bring me joy
You’re just a cold lifeless brick
Mocking me with your emptiness
And when at long last you come to life
The words on the pages you give me
Are words that finally make me smile
Because you tell me the things I love to hear,
From the person, I love to hear them from
